How
to Get Listed in the Directory
This Directory is
organized by subject and most sites in it are suggested to us by
users. Sites are placed in categories by our content team, who
visit and evaluate your suggestions and decide where they best
belong. We do this to ensure that the Directory is organized in
the best possible way, is easy to use, intuitive, helpful, and
fair to everyone.
ADDING
URL
We ask that you follow
three simple steps if you have a site (URL) you'd like to suggest:
1.
Check to see if your site is already listed.
An
important first step, because if your site is already listed, you
do not need to submit it again. Check by searching for your site
by title, or by browsing appropriate categories. (You can do this
from most pages within the directory using the search box near the
top of the screen). If you would like to modify an existing URL,
follow the directions below..
2:
Find the appropriate category in the Directory.
Finding
an appropriate category for your site is at the heart of this
process. Remember that our content team visit each site suggested
and proper categorization on your part helps us process
suggestions quickly.
3.
Suggest your site from the appropriate category.
Suggest
your site from the category you think most appropriate. Do this by
clicking on the "Add URL" link at the top left of that
category page. Also remember that the final placement of your site
is determined by our content team.
When
you click on "Add URL" in the appropriate category,
you'll see an on-line form asking for information about your site.
(In the "category" space on the form, you'll see the
name of the category and any sub categories you have chosen.)
Please be prepared to provide your e-mail address, your site's
title, URL, a brief description and up to 15 key search words to
associate with your entry.
MODIFYING
A URL
Locate
your ID# that was assigned to you when you signed up. If will be
listed on the Email you received that notified you of being added
to the database. Because many of the listing were manually
added by the Content Team, or you may have lost your ID#, you can
find it again by pointing your cursor while in your web browser at
your current listing and looking in the browsers status bar (at
the bottom of the screen). You will see something like this:

The
number at the end is your ID#. You must also have available your
email address as originally submitted. This is to protect your
listing and prevent unauthorized persons from modifying your
listing. Again because many listings were manually submitted,
please use the following email address:
webmaster@budoseek.net
if your email address is rejected.
Click
the link below and you will be taken to a form where you will
enter the ID# and email address as mentioned in the previous
paragraph. Once you have gained access to the Modification Form,
make the necessary changes and click "Submit"
