:) Can any one recommend areality based instructor in aikido,jiu jitsu,daito ryu, aikijutsu(WITHIN THIS FAMILY) having a rough time finding a instructor who teaches budo that is combat/street effective most tht i have seen teach the sport/dojo aspect and not the traditional (war) aspect. I live in chicago....any advice or recommendation on a honest teacher school will be welcome thanks....vicentecubano@hotmail.com

Why are you limiting yourself to aiki stuff when you are interested in "reality"?

FWIW, Choate is excellent for aikido. Don't know if he'd meet your criteria for "reality", though-- http://www.asu.org/chicago/
