Mr. Frank Sanchez is a controversial figure in the martial arts world. I have no personal opinion of him. I suggest you use Google to do some internet research, then go to the school and see if you like it.

Honestly, I have not been really impressed by what I have seen of the style. However my opinion comes from magazine articles and demos on dvds..never from sitting in on an actual class. Only way to really know is to visit the school.

I am not going to comment on anything other than the name of this style: "san-jitsu." It implies there are "three techniques"- as in there are only three techniques in the whole martial art. This would be fine, if that is what they meant- but it wasn't, so it isn't, and it ain't making sense. :)

This is not unlike the T-shirts I see here in Japan that say things such as:

yea yea lol thanks that made sense of what there lil flyer said im quote it "The art of SAN-JITSU referring to the 3 ways of "body, mind and spirit" " so that would be the 3 techniques ..

Umm... those aren't techniques or methods, are they? Even if they were, the use in this case is extremely strange and again, misused. Ways? That could be a 'do', but again it sounds like "happy good time sleep" or another strange expression that comes in on T-shirts. There is no excuse, thank you very much.

三術流 ??? なんでだろ?

The NAME of the style/dojo should not make the difference. Decide whether what they teach is what you are looking for.
