First of all, 'ello folks! New to the site, and I'm glad to be here! :D

I was wondering: Does a chinese 12 weapon weapon exist? Specifically, the rumors I've heard are of a system that when you've mastered all the weapons, you can use any weapon (the system covers the entirety of weapons physics).

Does such a system exist, or exist at one time?

Well there are a lot of Chinese weapons...can you ve more specific, long weapons, short weapons?

I guess there would be a certain amount of repetition and similar methods of handling a weapon.....eg if you can use a straight sword, you can use a sabre, if you can use a staff, a kwan do would be similar.

There's 18, 36 & 72 weapons, depending on who you listen to. There are 4 basic weapons for "mastery" ... knife (dao), sword(jian/gim), cudgel (gun/gwun), spear (qiang/cheurng). Once you get those covered in theory all you need to do is learn flexible & double weapons & you should be able to pick up any weapon. But that's theory.
