Very nice. I like how he set him up for it.

Set him up? Or do you think it was the ability to transition one technique that failed to another.
This question is from a inexperienced eye.
He used the classic 1-2-3. sasae tsurikomi to ko-uchi the the de-ashi. The set up was in the 1-2 (ko-uchi attack) - there was the sweep when uke could not recover. That was great!
I tried to see if he swept just the forward foot, or did he sweep both as in Okuri-Ashi-Harai.
Peace

Watch his grip on the lapel. The left hand is strong and as he pulled for the sasae then and pushed for the ko-uchi and pulled for the sweep. The sweep appears to make a 'J" motion which catches both legs.
He doesnt appear to push the foot into the other foot like in Okuri, but it is difficult to say with certianity.
Anyway you slice it - SWEEEEETTT
So sweet I'll have to do some uchikomi on that combo!
Peace
Dennis
