I thought it might interest people new in learning Ninjitsu to read this interview:

http://www.bujinkansf.org/hatsumi/interview.htm

I first found it on Bernard BORDAS' personnal website (http://saintes.bujinkan.cx/) and translated from French to English when I found it on the internet already translated in English on the website of the San Fransisco Bujinkan dojo.
Even for other artists I think it is more than worth reading it. It describes more than anywhere you could find the true way of Ninjutsu and much more than this, a true philosophy of life.
I was looking for real good dojos in France when I found his website. I exchanged e-mails with him. He is 48 years old now and still fit as a young man, he sent me information about food in the Ninja lifestyle (I can translate and send them to whoever is really interested), we discussed other points as well. I enjoy talking with him.
He is a direct student of MATSUMI and 10th DAN SHIHAN (higher MATSUMI student ranked). This interview dates back to June 1998 when visiting his master in Japan.
He also offers a 2 days complete training course for only (can seem a lot for two days, but what it contains is surely worth it or at least less expenisve than getting such training by HATSUMI himself!) 90€.

So I recommend it for anybody willing to know more about martial arts, Ninjitsu, and even spiritual.

PS: here (http://srs38.free.fr/bernardB.avi) is a movie clip of Bernard BORDAS showing
what he is able to do at 48 y/o thanks to a "natural diet" (he's
trying to get me into it as well but no way :D )

PS: sorry for talking in French here but this is just a parenthesis he was just asking me if I were "really" French or a Ninja! (so you didn't miss much of the discussion, but from now on we'll do it on private message)

So maybe one can better continue in English.

Just one slight remark... jUtsu still is preferable above jItsu. :wink2:

"but from now on we'll do it on private message"

And about the pronunciation, jUtsu or jItsu, the Japanese pronunciation is somthing between the jI and jU. So it's common to see U or I. ;)
