Schools in Nor Cal

Do you guys have any insight to Shorinji schools in California? Anywhere close to Davis or Sacramento is even better. If not what is the name of the Org. you belong to.

I think there's a guy who teaches at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. He may know who is good up in Sac or Davis.

I cannot think of his name but if you look online or call Cal Poly's Recreation Center (the "Rec Center") they may put you in touch with him.

I'd recognize him in an instant but, for the life of me, I cannot remember his name. Sorry.

Current Northern California branches are:

Defense Language Institute (Monterey)
Emeryville (Berkeley)
Mt.Diablo (Baypoint)
Peninsula (San Mateo)
San Francisco
Silicaon Valley (San Jose)

Also, there's a group in UC Santa Cruz that practices under the supervision of the Silican Valley branch. None of the above are, I'd say, close to Davis/Sacramento though.

That branch at the Defense Language Institute is pretty new. It just opened up about five months ago, if memory serves me. It can be a little tricky to get into as it's located on a military base, but doable in a roundabout way.
