People often ask how to know if a martial arts school is good or not. Well, if it resembles TTJC, it's probably not. I'd heard to watch out for schools that talk down on other area schools, but the comparison section of this page is the first time I've ever really seen it. I especially like the "education" part.

I found this line most interesting:
"7th Dan Black Belt Judo/Jujitsu (Korean Judo Federation, Kodokan)"
Somewhere along the way they lost their "Respect", "Humility", and "Honesty".

"You will be trained in a multi-art program and we guarantee that you will be able to defend yourself. In fact, any TTJC black belt who cannot defend themselves will be refunded all the tuition for the classes taken at TTJC!"
The money will be in check form and buried with your mangled corpse...

You realize this means we could put them out of business by going down there and beating up their blackbelts (albeit leaving them in condition to spend their refunded checks).
Edit: Didn't check where the school was at first, but I live in VT, so most of the world is "down there." ;)
Oh, I'm sure there is some fine print somewhere - else all the bb's would be beating each other to a pulp. :D

A buddy of mine lives in Knoxville & my sifu is originally from the Knoxville area. They both have stories that show how much of a joke & belt mill this place is.
Suffice it to say... you've all been too kind in saying what you have already.

^ Do any of those stories include Grandmaster Eun's spiderman gi? I was a 13 year old yellow belt in my first ever TKD tournament, and even I managed to figure out that something was wrong there.
