I apologize

I apologize on behalf of the White male suburban teen. There are many of us on the forum, most of whom are actually decent contributors (like I hope I am). Many of us however are not good contributors. Many of us could best be described as trolls. The most important thing to me when I am writing on this forum is that I do not come off as a troll. I have met Mrs. Elizabeth in person and she was the kind of high caliber martial artist that I hope that this forum will help me to become through listening to many of the conversations that go on here. This website is an amazing resource with so many people with so much experience that I could ask virtually any martial arts question, and I could get a wealth of information that I could get almost nowhere else.
That so many people come here and make idiots of themselves and ruin their chances of benefitting from this resource is dissapointing. What I'm trying to say, is that no matter what some of us act like many of us are better than that.

Many thanks for the wonderful compliment, Andrew. :) With all due respect, I think you are already there.

We welcome all Martial Artists of all ages and styles. Some members can be a bit over zealous or combative in their opinions - and unfortunately it seems to be more prone to the younger members (although not exclusive). If anything, you serve as a great role model.

Andrew, if it matters, I've never associated you with those types so there's no need to apologize for them - as if you're included. Have you been paying attention to the boards? Trolls come in all ages. ;)

Andrew, there is no excuse to aplogize for them. Only they can cause the stupid postings, not you. We do not force them to make a bad post, be troll or just post rubbish. So if anyone has to apologize is the posters themselves, not you. Just be glad that they are gone, and we can get on discussing our viewpoints in a controlled and well liked manner.

Someone else wrote 'guns are for sissy's' and kept trying to enforce that statement throughout a thread which was about a totally different topic (basically being a troll).

HE should apologize.

Andrew, no need to apologize. Trolls come and go. I think the majority of us here know not to judge the actions of a few people to a whole ago group..:)

Honestly, I wish my 17 year old son was a little more like you.
Although I haven't been here that long, you sound like you've got your head on straight and know what you want in life.
