So are there any teachers/instructors of Jeet Kune Do in the South-East of England anywhere?

Dont be so hype on JKD just cause you like Bruce Lee movies. There are alot of styles out there that have alot to offer.

I wouldn't wanna learn it just 'cause of Bruce Lee's movies, it's not even a style but a form and it teaches you that there are no boundaries. And it covers techniques from everything such as Wing Chun all the way to Thai Boxing...

I do not advocate learning a little bit of each. Basically, IMO, JKD is "theoritical MMA"

bruce lee realize towards the end of his life, that by codifiing (spelling anyone) his ideas into a system, he actually did exactly what he was trying to avoid, using solid concepts to describe a fluid act.

people remain people know matter what style they study, and so you can't just lump a person into a style, just because a man focuses on ground fighting doesn't mean his hook won't break your jaw. and just because a man likes to punch, doesn't mean his chokehold isn't deadly.
