I've been reading up on Wong Fei Hung, and needless to say, may it be the character of the movies or the real life hero, he's become my new hero to aspire to. Just one question, the "no Shadow kick" in the movies is talked about in his history. Probably safe to assume that it involve flying sideways and throwing a flurry of kicks to an opponent is probably an exaggeration of hollywood. I was wondering if there is a technique called the "No Shadow Kick", and what it looked like. Anyone have a useful link?
I can't help, but please update your profile to include your real full name as required by the rules and its Nunchaku to Nunchuck.

Yeah read last month's Kung Fu Qi Gong magazine. There's an article by Frank Yee that deals with the Mo Ying Gerk

I read an article about the shadowless kick by Mark Cheng. The impression I got from that article was that the kick was basically an ideal to be striven for; any kick that is not accompanied by any upper body movement to warn your opponent that it's coming.

Ah, that makes more sense actually...though, i still wish i could fly...ah well. Thanks for the info.
PS, i called the Nunchuck because of the changes the name went through by borders of language, it went from ninchuck->nunchuck-->nunchaku-->chaku. So, i'm not sure, but you all get the idea...right? Anyway, i'll change the profile. )

As a long time kobudo practioner, it's a pet peeve of mine.
Seeing it spelled that way makes it looks like it should be pronounced noonchuck or worse yet moonchuck.
It makes that back of my hair stand on end when I hear those words.

"i called the Nunchuck because of the changes the name went through by borders of language"
Wrong change the word language with your choice of laziness, slang or just ignorance.
Its nunchaku.
