View Full Version : Mikkyo
(a thread completely unrelated to the "personal development" thread that was recently ressurected)
Can someone please tell me what, if any, Mikkyo training one is likely to encounter in training in one of the Takamatsu-Den systems?
Thanks

Mikkyo as Mikkyo? Big fat goose-egg.

What Jay said is correct -- unless, of course, someone is getting it from some source other than Hatsumi sensei and outside the Bujinkan and is trying to integrate it with Bujinkan training. . .which has been known to happen.
Pretty much what I thought, just have been seeing alot of references to Mikkyo and Ninjutsu together... that and I recall seeing Shoto Tanemura doing Kuji on tv. But it was a Discovery Channel episode........

Joe,
Just to clarify, by mikkyo are you referring to the teachings of the Tendai-shu and Shingon-shu specifically?? Or, did you have a broader context in mind??
Laterz.
Well... broader in the sense of Japanese Vajrayana.
