Heheh...it's doable, but it takes some concentration.... I can say the words much more easily than the colour of the word...

Yup, concentration's the key here. Still can't do it fast, though. ;)
2nd time was harder than the first time.
The Stroop Test is a psychological test of our mental vitality and flexibility. The test takes advantage of our ability to read words more quickly and automatically than we can name colors. John Ridley Stroop first reported this effect in his Ph.D. thesis published in 1935. Current research on the Stroop effect emphasizes the interference that automatic processing of words has on the more mentally "effortful" task of just naming the colors.
By doing this test your basically forcing your brain to dynamically shift from right brain to left brain functions, and back again, all the while overriding the brains natural tendency to choose the "simpler" task of reading rather than identification.
