I'm glad that he did win. I heard about the referee smacking him though. As nutty as he is, there's no need for that. If he chooses to be a goofball, then let him be. My only real issue with Bennett is that I don't feel he's tries to reach his full potential.

How come they didn't show all the bouts on the PPV??? I paid my money, I want all the fights!!
I wanted to see Aleksander Emelianenko fight as well as Crazy Horse fight. I also agree with Stuart. Bennet doesn't try to be the fighter he can be.

It's all about the money bro, and I'm not mad at them.
UFC, PRIDE, KOTC, Shooto will not do that because it will kill their overall dvd sales. A lot of people that order ppv tend to record the shows and distribute it freely on the net. If you already have the entire show, more than likely you will not pay 18.99 - 21.99 to purchase their dvd to see the additional fights. All they're doing is securing their financial ends. :bandit:

The referee forced Bennett to acknowedge him and his explanation of the rules. Bennett was too busy goofing around to pay attention. The ref should have hit him harder, but all he did was smack him on the arm.
BTW: Thanks for posting the video of Bennett's entrance, after watching him I feel slightly less intelligent due to the loss of brain cells. I guess some fighters feel no need to show respect to the sport they engage in, the competetors they face, or those that are tasked with holding things together.

You also know that Bennet tackled the ref at the end of the match right?
The thing is this: A ref's main job is explain the rules of the match, and make sure the fighters are not breaking them during the match. If the fighter chooses not to listen, then it's thier own fault for a dq or penalty received. Suppose the ref did hit harder and caused an injury? Just something to think about. :bandit:

No I didn't. Bennett should never have an automatic suspension from participating in Pride events. Regardless of wether you like how a ref does his job, once the fight is over, it is over. Anythig else could possibly be considered criminal.

Suppose the ref did hit harder and caused an injury? Just something to think about.
All I saw was the ref making contact with Bennett prior to the fight. Bennett wasn't paying attention to him, and was being disrespectful. The ref lightly slapped him on the arm to get his attention.

You never get everything, that's how it ends up almost exactly 3 hours every time ;)

If some of the main fights are short and they got time, they fill it with the earlier fights that are not neccessarily going to air.
