I've spent more than the last few hours searching the forums and the internet for Kanji of some iaido terms, but I haven't been able to find one.
I'm hoping that someone here may be able to point me in the right direction if possible.
I've been looking for the terms Nukitsuke, Kirioroshi, Chiburi, and Noto.
any help in finding how these are written in japanese would bring many thanks from me.

They are:
Nukitsuke - 抜き付け
Kirioroshi - 切り下ろし
Chiburi - 血振り
Noto - 納刀

hi fifth chamber,
A bit off topic, if you can assist i'll message you personally if you dont mind of course. The question is, can you translate names into kanji? I study with two styles, one predominantly chinese and one japanese. My master of the chinese art can translate into chinese, but my Fudoshin master is a native of the U.K, and his japanese is rather limited (yet far better then mine i might add! :p) I was wanting to have a sword bag made for myself, my fioncee, and my master. I was hoping to have our names in kanji written (or embroidered) on the bags.
Just a little gift to say thankyou for the years of teaching. I respect and care for my master as would a good son, and from time to time over the years when inspired i find a befitting gift for the man. I remember when i was a child...i kinda wished he was my father. :P
Off topic i know, i'll shut up! :)
Thanks a lot :)
be well

Do you want the names in Kanji, or in Katakana? Translating names into Katakana is pretty easy.

Do you want the names in Kanji, or in Katakana? Translating names into Katakana is pretty easy. And translating them into kanji is pretty stupid. So the choice is easy.

Yeah..I don't have to reply but no...I won't do that for you..Use random Kanji if you like..But I don't have the time to do work you could easily do on your own.
Apologies and regards.

He can no longer access BudoSeek anyway, having shown himself to be a Grade A idiot.

Yes Ben, after his little abortive tirade to me and an extremely filthy and threatening e-mail to Mr. Carver I gifted him a more fitting avatar. :D
