Has anyone heard of this? Bas Rutten is getting with a couple of Krav Maga instructors to combine MMA and KM into a system called 'Complete Combat'. Their logic being that KM focuses only on real-life, but its hard to practice some of that stuff on real people. Therefore, they add in some MMA to get people used to the movement of fighting and taking hits, etc. I'm sure there is alot more that the two styles exchange as far as developing a system, and I really don't know anything about it, but apparently they're doing seminars across the country. I could only find one webpage for this:

Not coming from a blind fan here, but if Bas is part of it, it must have some good stuff to it.

Sounds like a great combo to me.

I like Bas Rutten, but his grappling stuff is sometimes a little suspect - a lot of it is really cool in theory, but we all know about the gap between theory and practice. But, I do respect him as a fighter, so if he's endorsing this, it goes a long way in my mind.
