Hello guys I've recently been thinking alot about trying to take some Tai Chi for health and spiritual purposes. I do have an interest in the martial applications of the art but I am at no shortcoming as far as combative MA is concerned so that is more of a secondary concern for me. I am interested mainly in using my Tai Chi in order to foster superior breath, balance and general fitness. Any chance anyone might be able to recommend and instructor in the LA (hopefully north valley, northridge area) to me?

Hi David,
Be as demanding of your Taiji instruction as you would with your practical fighting instruction. You need to learn the right way so that you can properly achieve your desires. Where in Cali are you?

I'm located in the northridge area (about 20-25 miles to the north of Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley). I plan to be every bit as demanding of my Taji instructor however my goals with Taji are most definately going to be different then my goals with my Kali/Silat/JKD :)
