Finally my club got around to administering belt tests, and I got my 6th green sash today in Cheng Dian Quan Kung Fu. I finally officially made it into the intermediate (or green) ranks. Weird belt system I know, but whatever, I finally got to stop wearing my yellow belt/sash. Well, I'm gonna try to go get some HW done, I just needed to brag.

Congrats!!!! The way I read your note it would appear your Yellow sash was so old it was almost Green anyway. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

It would be for a yellow in JJ. Our system goes - white, yellow, blue, purple, brown, black. I don't know if I will actually be testing. I have only been there for about 1.5 months, but I really started the JJ basics when I started Modern Army Combatives about a year and a half ago. So who knows? Others have told me that sometimes Shihan comes out and decides to test on the spot. They said it "usually" happens around this time of year.
