I ran across this story in today's edition of the Toronto Star newspaper (April 23, 2006). It's about a young Canadian soldier who was killed in Kandahar on Friday, April 21, along with three of his comrades. Bombardier Mansell was 'the life of the unit' (http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&call_pageid=971358637177&c=Article&cid=1145742615268). Bombardier Myles Stanley John Mansell, 25, also maintained an unofficial website of his regiment -- FiveTribe.ca (http://www.fivetribe.ca/). The website includes photos, forums (currently down), and dispatches about life in Afghanistan. What I've seen so far looks quite interesting.
