hey there karate people,
i just got an old copy of a karate mag called "Tommy Kay's Big Book of Karate" from January 1979. it has about 7 pictures of Bruce Lee on the front, and an article about George Dillman. also, it has an article called "Sneak Attack!!! The Most Effective Self-Defense! as taught by master Gene Williams"!!
i was wondering... is this the same Gene Williams we all know and love, or is he an evil doppelganger from another dimension  ? i can't tell! he has kind of shaggy hair and a mustache, also he is wearing a black gi and says he practices yoga (if i had a scanner, i'd show you some pages). the mag also doesn't say what style of karate he does. so it's a mystery... for now (but i'm going with the doppelganger theory).

Sorry, not me. I've never owned a black gi  I don't practice yoga, but there was this girl one time that.... :D

Ah, the truth is catching up to you, old man! How are we to know it was actually a girl? What else have you been hiding from us?

Well, I could tell you about my Sokeship that I got from a Japanese monk. He's dead now so it is too bad I can't prove it. That was after my top secret sniper training witht the CIA. But, if I told you about that, I'd have to kill you, then destroy Budoseek, too, because everyone would know. I may hire Chuck Norris to take you guys out...you know, with a roundhouse kick. :bandit:

So all this time you have been yelling at me about a black gi, and now the truth comes. I feel so lost now.

I repeat: I have NEVER owned a black gi. I notice, however, that you still prefer the Zorro look in your dojo. Now, perhaps if you had Catherine Zeta Jones hanging out there, I would be more favorably disposed to black gi. As it is, please gradually move yourself and your students toward white gi. The nails in your floor are still flush, but your's may be loosening a bit. :D

All due respect sensei, but if Catherine Zeta Jones starts classes she can wear whatever she wants.

I think she would look great in something white...like a bathtub. :)

Sorry fellas, but this has gone way beyond the karate subject.
