I heard a rumor that australian pro wrestler Nathan Jones competed in the early Pride events. Does anyone know about this?

Thanks for the information Andrew. I picked up the PRIDE 1-5 and caught the match this weekend. Jones got spanked! MMA was a whole lot different back in those days and it good to see how the sport has evolved. I remember Kitao competiting in UFC in Detroit and getting his nose broken. If Jones really did pick up some mma skills, do you think he would compete against a guy like Tim Sylvia?

In size maybe. But there are plenty of guys with some skill that are bigger. Bob Sapp anyone?
