I'm looking for a type of staff...help?

My cousin was asking me if i could find a staff that was flexible. I think it would be of bamboo material? It's scene in kung fu movies where the hero would bend it, and fling it at on-coming adversaries. Would anyone know a site whree i could find this?

Might be rattan. My friend has a very flexible rattan staff.

For Kung Fu Id say its white wax.

White wax poles are also tapered.
