ok, I got this scoop about a few of the fighters and what they looked like:

"Frank Mir looked
like he had just ate a full
sized goat. I've never seen
a professional fighter with
a body like that since Tank
Abbot, but Frank doesn't have
the knockout ability of Tank.

Thirdly, the beef between
Ken and Tito is legitimate
and 100% real. They do not
like each other. Tito made
an error today during the
weigh in by insisting that
his contract said 205 and
that Ken should weigh in at
205 instead of the 206 that
he did weigh. Tito caused
quite a scene. Needless to
say, he was somewhat embarrassed,
when he got on the scale and
was 206.25 So Tito had to
go lose weight and instead
of both fighter being 205, they
are both 206.

Arvloski looked chiseled and
ready!!! Tim looked confident
as well. I can't wait to see this
fight, its going to be good. "

Ok, for Mir to looks as fat(I seen a short video and he does look fat, small beer gut) as he did, knowing that he lost so badly in his last fight and desperatly needs this win to get back in line for a title shot, may show a definite lack of heart.

Tito's antics just dropped him down on the respect scale again. NSAC rules state that a fighter can come on one pound over his weight limit. And since Tito came in at 1.25lbs over, he had to go cut the .25lb. While that's nothing to cut, just the embarassment of mouthing off like that and then looking like a fool when you are over that limit may be mental chink in his armor tonight.

Arlovski had the longer hair and beard going on at the weigh in. And he looked bada**. I think he might have had an 8 pack rather than a 6 pack abs. Tim looked good too. But he always has a little flab around his belly. That's why he took steriods, to help him get a chisled body because he ws embarassed that on the UFC publicity posters he was always in the background while the guys who were buffed were in the front. He was the HW champion and was embarrassed about how he looked. Since the steriod scandal, he's made peace with his build and regained the title. Besides, the belt around your waist is all "buff" you need.

Is Tito actually scared of Ken? What if he did weigh in at 205 and Ken weighed in at 206 - would that make such a huge difference that the fight would have to be cancelled? It just seems so silly...

I'm looking forward to that fight.

The weigh-in was a comical scene. Ken weighed in at 206lb (which is legal according to the NSAC rules) but Tito was giving him crap for being over (the contract weight was 205). Dana was telling Tito to pipe down, when Tito weighed in a fraction of a pound over Shamrock. Needless to say, for once, Shamrock got one over on old Tito. Everyone knows that the weight doesn't really matter, they were just looking for excuses to egg each other on.

By the way, I was very disappointed to see Arlovski with the waxed chest. I personally believe that his chest hair is the source of his power, like a Belarussian Samson. I think this might just give big Timmy the edge that he needs. In my opinoin, the wilder he looks, the better he fights. Look at him in their first meeting. That's the kind of savagery I'm looking for.

 - You are a trip Luebbers - I nearly spilled beer all over the keyboard at the "Belarussian Samson" comment :D

I'd be really suprised if Tito doesn't whoop Ken by the 2nd round but hey - anything can happen. And I can cut Tito some slack; everyone deals with the pre-fight jitters differently. So he's acting a little immature - I don't think it is fear though. Not of Ken.

And let me just say wow about the Silvia / steroid thing - there is a ring of truth to that. And it makes me like him even more - to come back after the severe arm break and then the scandal to be champ again - that is pretty cool :bandit: - shows allot of character.

...and he was even better when he had back hair too! I still see Sylvia beating him down again, if only because I am a fan of siome Militech camp. Not only that, but Tim represents an UGLY mofo that is gangly, uncoordinated, and truly has no doubts about himself. I like his "Warrior Mentality". He gets a lot of flack for running his mouth (Most notably on the Jerome LeBanner fiasco), but his record more than backs it up. You must get yourself mentally ready for a fight, and if his trash talk is what gets him there, so be it.He's beaten some of the best HW's around in his record and is a 2 time HW champ. Not only they, but he's a hunter too...so I like him!

Tito should stomp Ken. If he doesn't, I look fwd to seeing him become a legendary trainer and coach a dominant stable of figthers for a very long time. Ken's got the toughness and heart, and if you could take 10-12 yrs off of Ken's birth certificate, this fight would be a lot more enticing! Still, Ken could pull of an upset, but I see Tito hurting Ken very badly....again.

Mir, I think we've seen the last of him as a top tier fighter. He's going the way of Ricco Ridriguez and I think he lost his heart. Some guys just never rebound from bad losses or fading skills.

Josh Neer is tough. I think he's got a good chance to beat Burkman too, but I cannot call this one. Neer trains with Millitech Elite and Burkman was with Tito on Big Bear. Cardio is gonna be equally a non factor because both will be amazing there. On the feet, i call Neer...on the ground, Burkman. My crystal ball is a bit cloudy here!

Monson will win, and the rest I don't know much about. I have read that that Franca guy is something to watch though.

Personally I suspect Mir is only fighting because he's contractually required to. I heard something to the effect that his leg injury was so severe he could potentially die from a re-injury
