Have been doing arnis on & off for about 5 years through the school I was at.

I learnt the first 15 drills 0f esapada-y-daga, but was told there was at least 20.

Asked the teacher about other 16-20, but he said he didn't know them

Found this link - http://www.geocities.com/kalipages5/struer/
(site has down load limit so try again later, it is really there)

It describes 1 to 19 in some language I do not know & the translater program "babelfish" can't or won't translate it, even when tried in all different available languages.

Unfortunately a couple are missing, but it still has 1-11, 13, 15, 16 & 18

With 16 & 18 I can expand my espada-y-daga a little, but still need 17, 19 & 20, can anyone assist me please.

I did really do espada-y-daga & if anyone can truely help I can email a description first of missing 12 & 14

The style I did was claimed to be Arjuken, using modern arnis with the chief instructor in my country being Jeff Traish. from Ernesto Presas' Modern Arnis a.k.a. Arjuken/Kombatan..

Please help.

Hi Darren,

Are you in Oz? I recognize that flag. Am I correct in my understanding that that is the Aussie equivalent to the Confederate flag in the US? A lot of bikers wear that too right?

The link you posted is in Danish, and I haven't a clue what it says.

Anyway, I'm not a Kombaton guy, but EyD stuff varies a bit from sysytem to system. Some get very in-depth and stylized, while others keep things fairly simple. The best advice I can lend is take what you have and examine it, make it a base of fundamentals and innovate though your own creativity. FWIW, Budo videos have a Kombaton EyD DVD featuring GM Ernesto Presas. That may be a source you can use.

G'day Tim

Yes, I'm downunder, sorry the top of the world actually just depends on your point of view.

Congratulations on the World Cup, everything is fine here except the for government, but that's a story for another day.

It is a rebellion flag (only rebellion in Australia's history, but I can live in hope), The Eueka Stockade Flag, but not really like the Confederate Flag.

It represents the Southern Cross (CRUX) star constellation.

My user name is actually the name of the brightest star in the constellation CRUX.

Alpha-Crux - official shorten to first acrux, sounded better than the second star Mimosa.

The Southern Cross is also used on the Aussie national flag.

Quick run down on Eureka Stockade
The Eureka Stockade was a miners' revolt in 1854 in Victoria, Australia against the officials supervising the gold-mining region of Ballarat due to many reasons, including heavily priced mining items and the expense of a digging license.
It is often regarded as being an event of equal significance to Australian history as the storming of the Bastille was to French history, but almost equally often dismissed as an event of little long-term consequence.
Although the revolt failed, it was a watershed event in Australian politics, and is often described controversially as the "Birth of Australian Democracy".

More on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eureka_Stockade if wanted.

Now it is often used as a Flag for a Builder Trade Union, plus some bikers wear, but just as many bikers wear the Confederate Flag in Aussie.

Oh & back to origin thread, thank you that was lots of help, gives rough translation but can still be worked on, video if I can find one would be great, still looking for number 20 though.

THANK YOU
