So, reading online, everyone claims Miculek has beat McGivern's record of 5 shots from a revolver in 0.45 secs. My question is how does Miculek's time of 0.57 seconds beat McGivern's time of 0.45 secs? Also, Miculek was shooting playing card size groupings and McGivern was shooting half dollar size groupings. I must be slow, but I don't get how you beat a world record, with a slower time, and less accurate shooting.....

(the timing for McGivern was 2/5 of a sec, or 0.40 seconds. Due to timing inaccuracy, they fixed the time to 0.45 sec to account for timing errors)

(here, they take the adjusted 0.45 sec time, that was previously adjusted for timing inaccuracies, and add another 0.05 seconds to it, calling it 0.50 sec. That time still beats Miculek by 0.07 sec)
Note: I am not taking anything away from Miculek's ability, just questioning who holds the record.
