Got to love Stephen Colbert. Because of videos like that on YouTube, I've started watching his show as well as the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

I think the fact that he said that to the president on live television is ballsy, worth resepcting in my book

In the words of Jon Stewart, it is a lot harder to trash someone when they're sitting there with you... because they're there. I found it to be funny and not necessarily "trashing" the administration, but to be a Colbert style satirical humor of it.

I like Colbert's and Stewart's shows, but I think Colbert's shtick works better in the mock news format. I spotted this clip from the same dinner, and I thought it was pretty funny.
