just to let everybody know, if you haven't seen the commercials, tony jaa (ong bak) is releasing a new movie entitled "the protector". it's coming out on the eigth of september and so far, it looks absolutely amazing.

It's been out for a while. It was originally released as Tom Yung Goog or something like that. My buddy Tou travels to Thailand all the time for business and he had brought me a burned copy. Its amazing! I couldn't understand the story because I don't speak Thai and it had no subtitles but the fight scenes were out of control! I saw the preview on T.V for "The Protector" and as soon as I saw the big capoeira dreadlock guy, I knew it was the same movie.

I watched it at a friend's place as tom yung gong, (and they have clips of some scenes on youtube.com) and it is a nifty movie...and has the most brutal fight scene I have ever seen in a martial arts movie (what I refer to as the breaking scene). For those who have seen it, you know what I am talking about. For the rest of you, yeah, see the movie.
