Since the first one got locked after being trolled by a certain moderator I am reposting this one in the hopes that we may continue our discussion with the hope that she may find another bridge to troll.

One of my earliest exposures to Islam (besides Sinbad movies where they constantly thanked Allah) was when I went to Jr. High with an Iranian girl.

In 1979 I went to school with the girl in the above photo, it is a scan from my yearbook. She went to our private school because her family was a wealthy progressive Iranian family that supported the Shah and held western notions. This is also why they had to leave Iran and were in the US by 1979.
Anyway before leaving Iran the family got together and killed this girls older sister. Seems she was secretly dating and sleeping with Americans. So the family gathered together to decide the best course of action and they concluded it would be best to drown this girl in the swimming pool to save the family honor. So they did.
The messed up part is the girl I went to school with resented her father and brothers for killing her older sister who she loved, but at the SAME TIME she ultimately blamed her older sister for FORCING them to do it. I was astounded by the fact that this "seemingly" normal girl was a freaking monster and absolutely did not get it. And these were "progressives."
Imagine a mother explaining to you that she killed her baby because the tooth fairy told her to do it. Then you will have some idea of the look on my face when this psycho chick told me her story. These people are seriously nuts and the word "moderate" means nothing. Their values are completely at odds with the civilized world.
