Unsolicited Private Messages

Good Evening Everyone:

If you have been receiving unsolicited Private Messages (PM) from other members and find that it is a little strange or annoying, please let me know. Send me a PM and let me know who is sending the messages what they were about. I want to ensure that Private Messages are a positive tool for communication and not one that is abused.

One additional thing concerning unsolicited email messages. If you get an email from another member that is soliciting you to visit their website, forum, or other online service, purchase a product or service, this is considered SPAM and unethical. Instances of this type of PM should be reported to me or another member of my moderation/administration staff. Spamming is a violation of the rules, and those members that use their Private Messages for this purpose will have their accounts terminated.
