like the way he patted him on the head first.
Ooooh pass the arnica...uhmmm Novocain
That is I believe Kashiwazaki, world champion and Tomoe-Nage specialist. The kid is a great uke, great ukemi. Listen to the laughter and applause at the end.
Peace

I can't imagine a better way to spend an afternoon than getting tomoe nage'd by him. Really, I can't.

StarkJudo: It was a pleasure to finally meet you this past weekend in Jackson. Wish I had more time to talk while we were there, but I know that you were busy and had to get gone.
I actually learned this drill in Europe while I was a teenager. It was taught to me by Udo Quellmaz. One thing I can say about it is that you MUST use your hands properly for Kuzushi or your uke will not appreciate it.
jarvis, i heard you landed a flying armbar in that tourney.

I didn't see him actually land any, but he was working them like crazy.

Nishoy1: No, I did not land the tobi juji gatame. Lord knows I was close on one of the two, but Keith was just too damned knowledgeable to allow me to finish it in the time frame I had.
StarkJudo: I'm hoping to keep working them like crazy and keep landing them even in my old age:-)

Jarvis, just do your best not to destroy your knees further in the process. :)

StarkJudo: Thanks for bringing that up...I'm fine actually. I went to the doctor on Monday and he diagnosed it as a severe sprain. I was supposed to be on crutches until tomorrow, but I haven't really used them at all today. Have to admit though when Keith buckled it under me I was SCARED.
I had flashbacks to playing football in college. Beware the Newaza man...that would be me.
