That was some incredible driving. If I could stay on 2 wheels for that long I'd drive that way all the time. :D

I remember when Hyundai first got a foothold in the U.S. two decades ago. Even the Koreans here were making fun of those cars! The product has come along way since then.

That video was a lot of fun to watch! Re-kindled my interest in taking a high-performance driving and driving safety class.

Yup, I remember too. They were considered basically Korean Yugos when they first came out. They've come a long way.

Boy, that would be something to be able to parallel park like that where I work. Unfortunately, if you didn't line it up perfectly you'd be hitting the bayfront wall.:o

. . . Korean Yugos . . .
I remember walking by the Yugo booth at the L.A. Auto Show sometime in the late '80s. One of the Yugo reps tried to impress upon me how a Yugo has everything that a more-mainstream marque offers in its cars. He ran down a list of features, and afterward I asked him, "Where's the spare tire?" His face sank as he popped the hood, and voila -- there it was . . . . . (See middle left-hand photo below:)

I couldn't stop laughing for at least a minute!

I have a 2006 Hyundai Elantra 4-door hatch-back; my wife has the 2000 Elantra Wagon. We do tricks like that on our street all time. Seriously, they've come a long way since the eighties and have served us very well.

Rodney King made Hyundai famous by proving to the naysayers that Korean made car can indeed go over 90 mph on streets.....:D
