View Full Version : Double Life
Maybe not fitting in this sub-forum but... Do you live some kind of double life? For example are you completely respectable at day and change at night? Do you talk about your habbits with your friends or family? What do you tell?
Mild mannered nerdy SW engineer by day...
...BJJ (and meathead ex-bouncer) by night!

Yes.

At night and on certain weekends.

I can't discuss my secrets with friends and family. They would never understand.
Only my wife and my handler at the "Agency" knows my true self.

In a way. Very generally I have my work life, and everything else. I don't talk about outside-of-work while at work, and I don't often talk about work when I'm not at work. Rather than calling it a double-life I like to refer to it as compartmentalizing my life, for simplicity's sake.

Cheese and crackers! What is it with these mumbo jumbo psychoanalytical questions?
I am the same person during the day as I am at night. To be otherwise would mean that a person has something to hide or are insecure and who they really are. If true, I doubt some internet forum is going to reveal that.

I'm a little bit fatter every evening. Does that count? ;)

Sorry, that wasn`t my intention. I don`t think about changing the personality from day to night, I was more thinking of the people around you. Whether for example your colleques at work think about you very different in comparison to your friends, because in front of them you behave completely different...

Don't really know what any of them think. I'm pretty much the same way all the time, though in varying levels of sobriety. :D

I tend to bounce off the walls at little bit more at night, but other than that, what you see is what you get.

Hmmm... good question. During the day I'm pretty professional (though I do hang out with work friends from time to time). In the evenings I'm either training, or socializing with others.
Not sure how different I am during the day than at night. I guess you could say that I'm more relaxed at night, since I'm not working. So I don't have to be all straight-laced and mild-mannered. Otherwise, I guess what you see is what you get.
