Let me preface this by saying I don't drink, I don't do drugs, I'm not on any medications, and I haven't hit my head lately.
I've been doing some sensitivity exercises for healing, and had
results that I don't understand. Basically, after the setup meditations, I
put my hands near(about 1-3 inches away) from my volunteer and see
what I can feel. On one person I felt like an electric shock/big nail
was going through the palm of my left hand when I put it near the top
of her left ear. On my other volunteer, when I put my left hand over
his right big toe near the big bone of the foot, he felt little
electric charges of pain. I could also just point with my index
finger at this toe and he would feel the pain. The next time I tried
this with him the pain went from his toe back to his ankle along the
outside of his foot. Also, when I put my left hand near his left
knee, he felt pain/electric shock down in his left foot. What's going
on? Neither, to their knowledge, have a history of injuries in these
areas. Also, with the male volunteer, he said that it felt like I was
touching his foot(top and bottom) when I had both my hands about an
inch away from his foot, and said that(on the first try) it felt as
though I was trying to push his toes over(my left hand 1" away from
the top of his toes).
The pain I felt in my hand seemed to be around the Heart 8 pressure
point, and this point also seemed to be most effective at causing pain
to the gentleman. I did not tell either volunteer that they were going to feel anything, nor did I have in my mind the idea that I would. All I was doing with this exercise was to see what I could feel. Again, no drugs, no alcohol, no meds, no head injuries. So what the %$*@ is going on?
Thanks for your time.
