There is no defense once the banana takes you to the ground

Nina is correct. This fails the requirement and shall only be included in the count if Jeff comes back and makes a personal reference (such as, "When I am attacked by a banana, I always cover my head and look for an opening, then typically take it to the ground to avoid any slip-ups").

Is a banana a vegetable or a fruit?
HA! It's an herb.
My personal opinion on this is that the threat is not removed unless you eat the banana - even when attacked by a bunch. There. Does that get my ticket punched?

God I love that skit!
"What if he comes after you with a pointed stick?"
"SHUT UP!"
As this is the bananas thread, I thought posting this (http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/article.html?in_article_id=93906&in_page_id=2) here was appropriate.

Ah, but while there may have been a "banana" involved, was the suspect a Shorinji Kempoist? ;)

Hmmm, Raul, I can't help wondering which keywords in your search were rewarded by this News item? I know I haven't come across this page before... ;)

Perhaps you should explain why a UK website thinks your people would have any interest in this :p
. . . Lu charged at him, nakedly.
Hilarious article and writing, says the peanut gallery, clothedly.

I speak not for my country... but I would not be surprised to find that there are others here who find the antics of nude Americans to be a matter for mirth. Their jolly japes and extraordinary liking for the outdoor life are just another reason why we look fondly at our errant cousins across the pond.:)
