Anyone heard of these guys? I have heard some good stuff about them on other forums and they seem to make a quality product. I am in the market for a CCW holster.

Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.

I have heard of them before. What I have heard has all been good.
They are not the cheapest CCW holster manufacturer, but they seem to put out quality stuff.

Stuff on the web page looks good. I never have bought anything from brigade, but I did get my western rig from Rudy at Black Hills - and could not be happier. Fit, finish, workmanship and service were top notch.

I'm not familiar with Brigade though their stuff looks good.
Here's one I am familiar with if you want to compare.

Thanks for the additional ideas. Do you guys prefer leather for CCW? What about for open carry? Any synthetic users out there. I would think that leather would probably be more comfortable for IWB as it became more supple over time but that is just pure speculation.

The only holster I have ever worn is a Military issue thigh rig. Comfortable and convenient, but not too practical for the real world.:wink2:

On another note, does anyone carry a full size gun CCW, or do you all use compacts or Sub-compacts for that? I imagine someone my size could get away with a full size, (again, pure speculation) but it probably is not too comfortable.

While there are good non-leather like kydex I prefer leather. The only kydex I use is the thigh rig for the tactical stuff.

I know alot of people that carry compacts and sub-compacts for off duty carry. I also carry large frames very well., so I only carry a full size. The only time I changed is when I have to wear a suit and tie. Then I carry my .38.
