Attached please find a blog designed to discuss the contents of my book, and to allow me to display images that are relevant to my research, but, were not originally taken to be displayed in a book. The images will appear shortly.

I also wanted to provide a platform for individuals to submit/discuss information related to Fujita Seiko, that comes from sources that I may not have uncovered during the course of my research.

If you are outside the USA....

For international orders... please contact the book orders department by phone at (888) 795-4274 or by email at orders@xlibris.com (orders@xlibris.com).

Kudos! I am going to enjoy reading this. For some reason I am fascinated with him, his claims and how he helped shape modern budo. Most folk don't take him seriously anymore, but there are plenty of old timers that did. That seems worthy of research in of itself.

BTW any mention of "Kempozu Zen"?

I wrote to the above e-mail and just recieved a response.

This is the important part here:

UPS gives us a quote of $83.69 for the shipping and handling to your
given address. Should you go on with the order, the total amount would
be $101.69. This breaks down to $18 for the book plus $83.69 for the
shipping and handling.

I responded and ask for regular airmail, I'll see what they say.

Here's the response:

We no longer use media mail for international shipping. We computed the international shipping cost quoted to you directly from the UPS page using the address provided and the quantity of the order. International shipping service has to be carefully chosen since we have to account for traceability, cost and timeframe. The shipping charges I have quoted you take all these into account. We believe that we can best serve your order with this International shipping option at the charges recently submitted to you.

If you wish, you can order the book through the channels like www.Amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com, or www.borders.com. They have cheaper fee for shipping and handling, however the only copy available is the paperback.

No big deal really, I can undestand that. Anyway, if you want to order this book internationally, it's best to use Amazon, Borders or B&N. I am going to use Amazon, link posted:

Hey....

I am just now getting around to ordering this book. Incidentally...what do you know about his study of Shinto Muso Ryu?

Henso

Detailed information about his study of the art is scant, but, I am convinced that his source, or one of his sources for the art was Shimizu Takaji. This conclusion is based upon the fact that he is listed as Shimizu's junior in the latters research organization, and the fact that their is evidence of contact/interaction between them, up to and including at Fujita's funeral.

Please let me know what you think of the book when you've finished it - perhaps, a review on Amazon.

Thanks,
