Cornish Style Wrestling

I'm trying to find out if any members know / have heard of Cornish style wrestling or if this art has died out?

My interest is that many of the moves I've heard of seem very similar to Judo (e.g. flying mare = shoulder throw, rolling hip lock = hip throw) and I'd like to find out how far the similarities go and what the differences are.

I'm exploring how physical body types affect the local approach to the combative arts and how this leads to similar moves across geographies (e.g. stocky people tend towards grappling moves).

I was always under the impression that the "Flying Mare" was similar to Ude Gaeshi in essence because of it being an "arm bar throw".

Okay. The information I would suspect might be viable be be to search for some sort of Cornish Wrestling Assoc. I would suspect there my be Cornish Wrestling still over in the U.K. I was only able to find this to go from....

The last move on this clip is a snap mare driver. snap mare is another name for flying mare. Mare is any throw where the feet wind up higher than the head.
