Well, I've started working on a script for my instructional DVD... the working title is "Boxer's Toolbox". The idea is NOT to present a comprehensive or fundamental video overview. There's plenty of those around and I'm still actively developing my system of training as whole (hopefully for many years to come). Rather than waiting, I'm going to release something that instead offers various tidbits of information on subjects often ignored or seldom discussed in other material. I have a lot of that running around in my head that just wants out! I have more than enough material for one two hour DVD and depending on the success of this one I might make others. Hopefully I'll have the approximate table of contents ready soon, for your viewing pleasure. The DVD itself should mostly consist of myself blabbering away with my students demonstrating and some nice diagrams where needed. Production quality should be pretty good as I know a lot of the right people for the job.
First copy goes to Tony Dismukes for review... he's been very patient!
Cool. Good luck and I look forward to buying a copy.

Thanks guys... my brother is a film geek (for lack of a better word) and aspiring film-maker. He'll helping me out with the video. Here's a funny clip he did for one of my other brothers recently:

Due to the economic crisis in Iceland, I'm putting the project on hold.

Bummer.
I've been reading the headlines about the economic situation in Iceland and hoping that you're doing okay. Are the effects really hitting the average guy in the street?

I have some small financial problems right now, but they're not really connected to the economic situation. Some people are getting hit hard, but I think they set themselves up for it by getting a little too complacent. What goes up must go down. Once I clear the hurdle in front of me, I'll have enough to break even. I actually worked on reducing my expenses during the preceding boom, so things don't look too bad for me. People were taking out big loans like nothing and now they're paying the price. However, I think at the heart of it, it's just panic. Politicians and reporters will take a bad situation worse if given the opportunity to open their mouths.
Jeff, at this point I probably won't be coming to Boston any time soon. I used to be able to get one dollar for about 60 Icelandic kronur and now it costs me 110 kr!
