Price: $260 - includes all accessories in the photos

I would prefer to sell this rifle face-to-face. Shipping will cost an additional $35. I have to mail it to a Federal Firearms License holder (FFL) who would then transfer it to you. Find a local FFL who does transfers here (http://gunbroker.com/User/DealerNetwork.asp) or here (http://listings.shotgunnews.com/fflguide/).

Call 936-853-8450 or email http://people.consolidated.net/etrider/forsaleaddress.jpg

Thank you for looking!

I remember when those used to be stacked like cord wood at gun shows, with signs that said "$89 pick the one you want." You could get 1000 round case of steel core ammo for $89 also. Those days are long gone.

I was relocating all of my ammo into a lockable cabinet the other day.
I found some of the old Chinese military surplus steel core ammo that I have had for like 12 or so years, still on the stripper clips and wrapped in paper.
All of it still in great shape.

An old man drove up from Houston in a Ford Excursion yesterday and bought that rifle. 220 mile round trip at 13 mpg! He saw it on http://twtex.com He had some interesting "Hula" shotguns he'd bought at the gun show in Houston Saturday. They were nice.

I'm going all 5.56mm and 9mm in order to simplify my ammo stocking.

I saw at Academy yesterday that Wolf .223 sells for $8.97 for a box of 20.

GRRRRRRR.

Fortunately, I stocked up on Federal XM193 back when it was $125/1000. I'm holding onto that.

Now it's $400/1000. Look at: http://gun-deals.com/ammo.php?caliber=.223

I don't even shoot much anymore because of the high ammo prices.

About three years ago I paid $148 delivered for a 1000 round case of Wolf 55gr FMJ. That's 2.96 a box! It even came with two free big plastic ammo cans. I should have bought ten cases...I think I have about 600 round left and another 250 of various other manufacturers.

I have a list of guns I want to add to the collection. Eventually I am going to add a few Glock or Sig 9mm police trade-ins and stock up on some surplus 9mm. I don't own a 9mm right now and I need to remedy that situation.

I had an sks which I bought for 100 in 1993 brand new and sold for 120 in 2004 with about a thousand rounds through it. It was a fun weapon to shoot but that was about it. Cheap ammo helps as well...

I got one back in the early 90's too, brand new in cosmoline with all the accessories - spike bayonet too - for $130. It's a fun, durable rifle, shame the windage adjustment is such a pain (even with the tool). The rear sight graduation to 1000m is wishful thinking in the extreme :D

Still got it but haven't fired it in ages.

Right! I forgot about the 1k setting on there. Ha! The ammunition isn't capable of accuracy at that range, not to mention the rifle itself. The best part is that in some eastern block craphole back in the day, they probably sold it as a long range tack driver to some poor ******* who didn't know any better. Great catch Dave, that one really made me laugh...

Yeah, with a drop of 3 ft at 300 yds you'd probably have to aim at the sun. But, it's okay for what it is.

The Russian manufactured SKS that I bought several years ago is no tack driver, but held a fairly decent group at 100 yards. The problem is that I never could adjust the front sight, so I had to do the adjustments by eyesight. It's kind of odd holding a severe three oclock sight picture just to try to shoot in the middle area of the target.
I haven't shot the thing in several years but I could sell it for about four times what I paid for it. ( Not going to though)
