In Tomiki-system-based schools, what is the most common error y'all see committed by beginners learning shomen-ate & aigamae-ate?

Using a stiff-arm as opposed to a naturally straight arm, shoving with the arms rather than letting the hips do the pushing, forgetting the "same hand, same foot" mantra. As least those were the mistakes I made over and over again.

Jeff SladePoor positioning is the most popular error I've seen. Not taking Uke's balance totally on contact. For Shomen Ate and Aigamae Ate to work well Uke should be totally off balance to his back corner, spine extended and locked at the point where Tori makes contact with the the head and/or chin.

And what Mark said too.:)

Not getting the angles right
Not taking uke off balance enough...or too much...
The most common ive seen is the bending of the lead arm as you step through and push with Aigamae Ate which results in nothing happening to uke's body.
Foot position too far apart and at wrong angles.

The main problems I see when beginners practice shomen ate is positioning and pushing with the arm and not the whole body as with Tsugi Ashi.
