As a black man why he would be such a strong supporter of a procedure that is decimating African-Americans at such a high rate?

He's no more black than he is white.

The 'African American' birth rate is through the roof:

Birth Rate for African-Americans: 70.8 births per 1,000 population (1996)
Source: Monthly Vital Statistics Report, Vol. 46, No. 1 Supplement

National Birth Rate: 14.8 live births per 1,000 population (1996)
Source: Monthly Vital Statistics Report, Vol. 46, No. 1 Supplement

Perhaps there is a correlation between this and the high incidence of abortion in the black community?

I'm not 'for' abortion either in any but cases of rape or where the life of the mother (and thus the child) are in grave danger. WRT your question I don't think anyone on this board can speak for Barack Obama, nor for any other person.

Obama doesn't care about black people, or white people for that matter because he is a world-class politician.

At his level politicians don't give a flip about stupid abortion, family farms, crackheads, minimum wage, or any other thing that affects normal people.

They support one thing and one thing only, pleasing the people in power. People in power are not the people who vote, or pay taxes, or do any of the normal things you and I do.

You are nothing more to them than a sheep to be kept in a pen and periordically sheared for profit. If you don't believe me, start resisting the shearing and see what happens to you.

OMG....I tried that once...the (Independant Redistribution Society) IRS decided I needed twice as much shearing......

Independent Redistribution Society - That's a good one!

Several years ago I literally watched a co-worker battle the IRS over $2000. He gave in when the penalties and interest reached $6500 in less than a year.

So the rule is, if the IRS says you owe them money, PAY THEM first, then fight it.

Why does the truth have to be so brutally honest? :(

You are correct indeed.

P.S. a great man once said. Voting is a passifing mechanism for the people who mean nothing. If voting meant something, it would have been abolished long time ago.

Why does the truth have to be so brutally honest?

Facing the brutally honest truths of this world will set you on the path to freedom if you let it.

Always go back to the fundamental truths you inherently knew when you were a child:

* It is wrong for people to take your bike/lunchbox/property without your consent.

* It is wrong to aggress first.

* It is wrong to lie.

If you live 100 years, these things will still be just as true on your 100th birthday as they were on your 3rd.

IF you hold your government to these same fundamental standards, you will become a freeman.

Facing the truth about yourself and the environment you've made for yourself very often sucks and is painful. I have difficulty with it every day. Much easier would be to sink into television/fantasy/intoxicants/diversions and while away the days as a playboy. I/We have to be strong and keep working at becomeing free.

I'm sorry for sounding like a preacher, but living free really is better for everyone in the long run. It makes better people.
