Will the seminar be based for beginners or more advanced?

I told him I wanted to start for beginners and progress from there. I want each seminar he does to build on the last. He said he can do plenty for beginners while giving more advanced people plenty to work them too. I don't know how that will shape up but he is the Professor so we will have fun and all learn a lot I am sure.
