If you mean traditional wushu... I've done a smidge of Hua Quan, Tan Tui and Bei Shaolin Men.

If you mean the contemporary stuff... it's pretty to watch, but I don't play it.

Done some Tam Tui and some contemporary.

I like to describe Tam Tui as Wing Chun for the legs.

The contemprary- well though most people blow it off as just show (and alot of it is) there is still good stuff there from its roots.
Also a great exercise....plyometric yoga.

Man you're being polite... much more than I could ever hope to be about that.... stuff.

Then skip it & go to the good stuff... makes things simple...




Also a great exercise....plyometric yoga.

Yeah true as long as you don't mind what happens to your joints because of their "improved & more athletic" postures...

I think the value of the contemporary forms is under rated.
Its like combining yoga, pilates, plyometrics and martial arts into one activity.

I think it keeps my joints youthful. When I get away from them for too long I feel the age set in.
