You can spend $44 for 10 doses of generic Tamiflu from our socialist neighbors to the north (I love Poutine (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&source=hp&q=poutine&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=g10&aql=&oq=), Canada!), or you can spend $10 for 900 doses of Vitamin D3 which may be as much as 8 times as effective in preventing Influenza A.
Now consider this: an hour in the sun at noon with maximum body exposure allowed by law gives an estimated 10,000 IU during the summer months, and they only tested the study patients with 1,200 I.U. per day. I wonder how much things would have improved with, say, 5,000 I.U. daily?
