Whats up everyone, I need some help again. LoL. I am curious as to where to go online for a good broadsword. I don't want a WuShu or spring steel one. But I also don't want one of those combat ready ones. I am just looking for a good sturdy one to use. So if you know where to get a good one that a slighty poor college student can find, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks
A couple good blades...

This is probably the best bang for your buck... its around $140 Its a CAS-Iberia blade made by Han Wei. Good stuff. Its their "Practical Broadsword". Not sure who would carry it localy by you, but I know you can buy it from some online stores. wle.com I know has them.
I know you said you didnt want a combat worthy blade, but you might also look into the stuff from Cold Steel. They make some absolutly fantastic blades.

Expensive, but worth it.

We like the wushu steel at my school and we got a couple of sturdy ones by mistake in an odrer...we kept them just for practice sake and for 2 man weaons sets.

I have one I can sell.
I though I ordered flexy wushu steel, it was firmer than what I was looking for. I had thought I'd maybe keep it to play around, but haven't touched it.
It is about 31" total, very basic- in box, no scabbard, handle is wrapped with black and silver, has flimsy red sash.
This is your basic everyday chinese quality, nothing fancy, but should hold up fine for general banging around.
oh yeah $35, plus whatever to ship if you want it.
Sioux
PS I can get a picture up here if you want
