This is funny as hell. All the hundreds of millions can't make up for a "tiny todger"....plus some other great ramblings.

My wife and I recently read Slash's book, followed by Ozzy Osbourne's.
Autobiographies (with skilled ghost-writers) can be a terrific insight into how famous people came to be famous, or how they remember the inside-story of their greatest achievements, or what they think about themselves. I've enjoyed a load of biographies over the years and for a long time it put me off reading fiction, as the often random events in a real life make most stories seem so contrived and artificial.
There is a downside, of course, when it comes to personal views. You only get to hear one side of a story. This is fine if the main story has been covered in depth by proper authors (like reading, for example, a history of key events of WW2, then reading the diaries of a key figure, such as Winston Churchill), but reading one side of a relatively private story - like Slash's account of the rise and fall of Guns N' Roses - can be really frustrating. Slash's book is great, but you really wanted to get input from some of the other people present at the time.
The extracts I've read from Keith's book sound great. It is very easy to imagine his voice. I bet it would be a good book, but would it just drive you crazy to hear from Mick Jagger or some of the other key players in the story? I think I'd like to try it anyway when it comes. I liked the Johhnny Depp story.
Richards today revealed that Johnny Depp was a frequent visitor to his home for two years before he twigged he was a Hollywood star. The guitarist feared that the screen superstar was his son's drug dealer.
'It took me two years before I realised who he was,' Richards told The Times.
'He was just one of my son Marlon's mates, hanging around the house playing guitar.
'I never ask Marlon's mates who they are because, you know, "I'm a dope dealer."
'Then one day he was at dinner and I'm like "Woah, Scissorhands."'
Depp credits Richards as the inspiration for his character Jack Sparrow in the Pirates Of The Caribbean films. The musician even went on to play his father in the third film of the franchise.

Keith also claims he has given up all drugs but adds: "I'm just waiting for them to invent something more interesting. I'm all ready to roadtest it."
