Effective immediately, no announcements of any type can be made by new members with less than 50 posts. This is being put into place in order to discourage "drive-by announcements" by members who join for no other reason than to make announcements but not to participate in our discussion forums. Posts that happen to slip by our enti-spam/link software will have their links/announcement removed by a member of the moderation staff.
We will be announcing "supporting memberships" and advertising rates in the near future. If you are interested in either of these before the official announcement, please contact the Webmaster for details. Members who have "supporting memberships) or have paid for advertising will be able to post announcements without the requirement of having first having 50 posts.
Please note that attempting to circumvent the 50 posts requirement by racking up a bunch of garbage posts will have their membership terminated.
