Hello All,
It is almost hear – on August 1 we open our dojo doors.
For insurance:
[1] Who do you recommend-?
[2] How much is the cost-?
It is interesting life events take place.
I will be laid off on August 1st from my day job and on the same day, we open the dojo.
It is truly in God’s hands.

This is what I use. I have never filed a claim, but a friend of mine had a student break his neck in class and the insurance paid out with no problem. $2 million in liability coverage runs about $465 a year for 50 students, and goes up a few bucks per student over that. They also will do tournament and special event coverage.

I've used the same company, and like Cliff, have never needed to file a claim. However, their reputation is quite good and I have not heard anything negative.

Having searched such insurance in the past, I like what I read. If I had a school right now I would probably purchase a policy.
