Hello Butch,

I live in Sarasota, Florida.

I believe the Tampa - Brandon area is about 1 hour away, max. That is exit to exit.

Do you have a dojang in mind?

I look forward to your responce.

Thank you.

Hey Ed , just wondering if you found a style yet that you're gonna train in ? You wrote looking for Goju Ryu , Shuri Ryu , now TSD , etc . ; Just wondering if you found a Dojo yet ?

Hello David,

I just got back from a business trip and it is good to see your name.

I hope all is well with you.

Thank you for asking about my MA dilemma.

I have been searching for a quality, lack of ego and legitimate dojo close to home. I am not having much luck.

Originally I was attempting to stay close to home for the connivance and respect to my family and work schedule. I may have to reconsider.

David, any recommendations for a quality dojo in the Sarasota, Bradenton orVenice area?

In regards to your Black Belt meeting – would I be able to attend?

I am in need of quality MA fellowship.

Hope all is well.

I have a good friend of mine that is down that way , that has done TSD since the 60's , as well as Shotokan . Over the last few yrs he has gotten into Yang style TCC as well . He is a great guy . He trained w/ Chun Sik Kim @ Osan AFB in Korea . Email me again , so I can get your email address , & I'll fwd it to him , & see if he's up to teaching anyone . I'm sure he wouldnt mind helping you out , but I'm not sure if he has the time , but I'll ask . There's also Golden Sidekicks down your way , their website is http://www.goldensidekicks.com/index.htm . But , I'm not sure if you're interested , but he is very involved in the tournament circuit . He is one helluva technician though .
