Hello all,

After reading the thread Best book of martial arts (http://www.budoseek.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=4026) I noticed someone refer to a book of Dim Mak (pressure points / meridian lines). I was just wondering if anyone had any specific recommendations for books in this category.

Thanks.

Just to clairify, I'm not looking for a book about pressure points that will cause a person's head to explode. Far from it - I'm a little too skeptical for that. I'm looking for a book that explains a bit of the theory and history associated with meridian lines. An introduction to tradition chineese medicin perhaps? In all truthfullness, I'm not sure that it's even called "Dim Mak".

Any ideas where to start?

Dim Mak is an intensive study of the medical arts that incorporated the martial arts, and its ultimate goal was to heal, not to destroy. An excellent no nonsense book on this subject is ANCIENT ART OF LIFE AND DEATH
The Book of Dim Mak by A. Flane Walker and Richard C. Bauer This Book of dim-mak covers both martial and healing arts. This is a must have book for the study of dim-mak check it out.
